Scrambul Gaplands is the only Half mile and quarter mile racing event in the North East.  Gaplands is a two day drag racing expo for street cars taking place on April 1st & April 2nd, 2023 at Calverton Executive Airpark.

We utilizes a 10,000ft Runway to create a motor haven where drivers can choose to do 1/4 mile races from a dig and 1/2 mile racing from a roll.

This is a NO Prep EVENT

Drivers can elect to do a water burnout to heat their tires.

This is a street car event. Pro Mods, Funny Cars and dragsters will not be allowed. Vehicles that are not registered must be trailered.

Optional Tournaments

Entry into tournaments are optional.  Drivers interested in participating in a tournament pay an additional  "Buy in".  Tournaments are capped at 32 cars.  Tournaments are single elimination.  There are no vehicle classes.  Participants will be paired at random.  The winner of each matchup will move on to the next round.

The winner of each race will be the car that crosses the finish line first.  ET/MPH will not be used to determine a winner.

Elite tournament:

Buy-in:  $100

1st place payout:  $2500

2nd place payout: $500

3rd place payout:  $200

Masters tournament:

Buy-in:  $360

1st place payout:  $10,000

2nd place payout: $1,000

3rd place payout:  $500

*Payout is based on a 32 car field.  The payout will be adjusted based on the number of entries.
